Lets call my very first account circa 2006  "Oscar".   Oscar got stuck at 0,0,0 in a region and I didn't know how to get out so I thought it was Game Over.  I made another account to try again. I'll call him "Ron". 
Soon I learned how easy it was to rescue Oscar and before I really knew squat about SL I had an Alt. 
The order in which we learn things is odd sometimes. 
Ron had a few things I wanted to give Oscar but I didn't know I could just drop them on his profile. Neither did I know that both Oscar & Ron could be logged in at the same time. 
I took Oscar to Mauve Sandbox and logged off.  I took Ron to the same spot, put all the stuff in a box, and set the box so that it could be taken.  Then I logged off Ron and logged Oscar back in, worried that if I didn't hurry someone would steal my box. 
Oscar got the box. 
We did that more than once.
For the life of me I don't understand how I knew I could fill, set properties, and take a box before I learned the simpler options.
